Car Facts is available for cars that have a VIN and were manufactured after January 1989. Each certificate
is
accompanied by a glossary of terms to help you understand all the information you have been given. Please note that
certificates are available for all states with the exception of Tasmania and History Certificates are
available for Queensland-registered vehicles only.*
The first step in purchasing a
Car Facts package is verifying the VIN of the vehicle. This service gives
you details of the vehicle matching that VIN, such as make, model , rego and colour, thereby reducing on the chance
of submitting an incorrect VIN.
