The Subaru Forester comes with a 2.5 litre 4-cyl engine that is about 20% more powerful than the previous 2.0 engine. The range starts at $31,490* for an "X" manual and tops out at $44,990* for an auto turbo charged luxury pack XT. The X comes fitted with air, CD, cruise control, dual airbags, remote locking and more. Higher specification models come loaded with standard features and the top of the range luxury pack includes leather interior trim and an extra large sunroof. The 2.5 litre engine has reasonable power and torque, however the turbo engine is a ripper, making the Forester XT one of the fastest 4WD's on the road.
