This little beauty is a popular choice and deservedly so. The XC Barina is actually in runout mode at the moment as dealers are keen to move stock to make way for the new TK model, released in December 2005. The XC Barina is available in a 3 or 5-door configuration with standard features including a 1.4 litre DOHC engine, air conditioning, 6-speaker Blaupunkt CD stereo, front power windows, dual airbags and remote central locking. A choice of four variants are available, starting with the base XC at $13,990* through the SXi and CD to the range-topping sporty SRi at $22,490*. Competition is fierce among several manufacturers in the light car segment - kudos to the Barina for snatching the Light Car crown this year. Maybe the new TK Barina can repeat the performance in 2006!
