One of our favourite Compact SUV models, the Subaru Forester is a worthy winner of this year's PCA. This year the third-generation of the Forester took out the category by a landslide margin, repeating its 2008 win over the segment's usual default choices: Honda CR-V and Toyota RAV-4. Interestingly, this year Volkswagen's worthy Tiguan and an all-new Outlander from Mitsubishi lined up behind the Forester -- proof of the Compact SUV category buyers’ eye for new products as well as the segment’s breadth of choice.
