CommentsThe targa top 308 Ferrari badged as the GTS was first introduced in 1977 after the success of the GTB coupe. Maintaining the same tubular platform these stylish cars were powered by a DOHC 3.0L V8 engine coupled with weber carburetors until 1980 when they switched to a fuel injection motor despite the carburetor power plants providing more power.

These cars have become increasingly popular, due its cult status alongside Tom Selleck in the television series Magnum PI.

Originally ordered and dispatched in 1979 this 308 was not delivered to it's first owner until March 1981. According to the various test certificates and service receipts this 308 appears to be a low mileage example.
