HSV COUPE

HSV will have the honour of producing the last Monaro-based vehicle

Holden Special Vehicles (HSV) will sign off its Coupé range, and the second generation Holden Monaro, with a special edition dubbed the Signature Coupé.

Boasting extra equipment and HSV's exclusive 297kW LS2 V8, just 70 Signature Coupés will be built.

According to HSV, the conventional HSV individual vehicle number system, which begins with build number one and counts upwards, is being reversed for the Coupé. In the manner of a 'countdown,' the final Coupé off the line will be badged number one, says the hotshoe Holden builder.

All 70 are finished in Sting Red paintwork with Gloss Black accenting on the front and rear facias and 'Signature' badging on the rear deck lid. They will roll on 19-inch alloys and feature HSV's AP Six-Piston Brake System which includes 362mm cross-drilled and grooved front rotors and four piston calipers and 343mm discs at the rear.

Also added over the standard Coupé spec is an HSV Sunroof, unique 'Signature' floor mats and Bluetooth phone connectivity.

The HSV Signature Coupé is priced from $83,990.
