HYUNDAI TIBURON

Further images of the next sports coupe from Hyundai

Pics of Hyundai's super secret Tiburon have already been published on an enthusiasts' website (more here), but now the car has been caught on camera thanks to the patience of our spy photographers at Carparazzi.

The car in question is important as it may well be Hyundai's first rear-wheel drive platform to market and, assuming the Tiburon comes to Australia, it will be the first V6 RWD sports coupe of its type here since...ummm...possibly the Alfetta GTV6 of the mid eighties?

Enthusiasts have been quick to praise the current Tiburon for its V6 engine, but that refined powerplant is crying out for a rear-drive platform to make the best use of the torque.
