PEUGEOT 207

Few details yet, but Peugeot's 207 GTi and the 207CC will be in showrooms early next month

Your friendly Peugeot dealer will be able to do you a deal on two new 207 models from August 1.

Both niche market variants of Peugeot's light car range, the 207 GTi and the 207CC (more here) will add incremental sales to the French company's aggregate.

Peugeot expects the folding-roof 207CC to score hits with 800 new buyers over the next twelve months.

Priced at $33,490, the 207 GTi, which is fitted with an upgraded version of the 1.6-litre turbo four-cylinder that powers the 207 GT, is expected to pull down about twenty sales a month.

Compared with the 207 GT, the GTi develops 175hp (130kW) versus the GT's 150hp (111kW).

Keep an eye out for our review of both cars over coming months.
