MAHINDRA PIK-UP

The distributor for Mahindra has appointed seven new dealer sites, mostly in rural areas

Those who have felt on occasion that the Mahindra Pik-Up could be dismissed as "agricultural" will undoubtedly take satisfaction from Mahindra distributor TMI Pacific playing to the vehicle's strengths.

The distributor is targeting primary industry producers as prospective buyers and has appointed four new dealers, operating up to seven yards, six of them in Victorian regional areas and the seventh on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland.

In Victoria, the Mahindra Pik-Up will be sold and serviced by new dealerships in Cranbourne, Bena, Kyabram, Wangaratta, Mansfield and Bendigo. The Sunshine Coast dealer is located at Nambour.

With the new dealers on board, Mahindra is sold through 25 dealer sites around the country and Michael Tynan, chairman of TMI Pacific, expects further expansion of the dealer network to encompass distribution to all states distribution some time in the latter half of this year. Expansion into Victoria and Queensland is the first phase of that plan.

Currently, TMI Pacific is offering purchasers a $3000 cashback deal as an incentive to clear all 2007 models of the Pik-Up.
