Three Astra models have joined Holden's 60th Anniversary model line-up. The special editions include stability control as standard, along with other goodies.
Holden has launched a number of 60th Anniversary special editions already this year. The 60th Anniversary Astra is announced just a week after General Motors celebrated the roll out of the 10 millionth Astra from its production line in Bochum, Germany. Astras commenced production there in 1991, however, now the small car is produced in a number of variants in eight plants on three continents.
Available as in both five-door hatch and wagon body styles, the 60th Anniversary Astra is priced from $20,990 driveaway (manual hatch). This is $1000 less than the normal RRP of the CD manual hatch.
In addition to stability control, the 60th Anniversary Astra also includes 15-inch alloy wheels and "exclusive" 60th Anniversary badging. Metallic paint is an extra $360 on the 60th Anniversary models.
