The Great Wall V240 twin-cab is set to be joined by a single-cab sibling this month. Set to offer even more ute for less money, the entry-level model will be priced from just $17,990 drive-away.

The 4x2 single-cab V240 will be sold complete with drop-side alloy tray, air-conditioning, alloy wheels, power steering, remote central locking, single-CD tuner and power mirrors. 4x4 is available for just $3000 more.

"The twin cab V240 has proven to be extremely reliable and very popular with a wide range of customers over the past year," said Ric Hull, managing director of Ateco Automotive, the importer and distributor of Great Wall in Australia. "We are optimistic that this very keenly priced single cab V240 will be embraced just as enthusiastically."

Adding to the generous feature list, the V240 single-cab also includes important safety equipment such as dual front airbags, ABS and electronic brake-force distribution.

Like all Great Wall products, the V240 is backed by a comprehensive three-year/100,000km factory warranty and includes 24-hour roadside assist.
