2010 has been a good year so far for Kia. The importer's sales for the year to date are almost 2500 units ahead of the same period last year.

Keeping the ball rolling into the second half of the year, Kia has released a limited edition model based on the Cerato SLi sedan. Named the Cerato Limited, only 200 cars will be built for the Australian market. Each car will feature leather seats, electric sunroof, body kit and rear spoiler, on top of the standard SLi specification.

Kia is pricing the Cerato Limited at $25,990 for the manual variant and $27,990 for the auto. Both prices include on-road costs and dealer pre-delivery charge.

"The drive away prices of our Cerato Limited offer customers a net saving of more than $3000," MK Kim, Kia President and CEO was quoted as saying in a press release.

"The Cerato SLi already comes standard with a long list of extras including 17-inch alloy wheels and front fog lights and a six-function trip computer, cruise control, USB and iPod compatible six-speaker sound system."

For the limited edition Cerato, Kia is only offering three exterior colours: Ebony Black, Platinum Silver and Clear White. With only 200 cars available for sale and already in the showrooms -- and the Cerato selling 363 units last month -- they won't last long.
