One for the trainspotters.
The Carparazzi team spotted this minimally-disguised, minimally-changed MINI on the road recently.
All that can be gleaned from the photos are that the grille and bumper area have been reworked to give a tidier front end, with some work in the lower front air vent region indicating either improved cooling or simply a more purposeful look.
The grille itself now dips more neatly into the bumper as a one-piece unit rather than being divided by the bumper's upper section.
Anything else?
Difficult to say, except the rear bumper has likely had a bit of a re-shape as well, and the taillight lenses appear to be different too -- as you would expect, given they are probably one of the easiest things to modify in a minor facelift.
BMW introduced the MINI brand, in Cooper and Cooper S form, to Australia in 2002. It has been a local success, with Cabrio and Clubman versions subsequently added to expand the range. A mini SUV Countryman version is due in Australia early next year.
Carparazzi expects the mild facelift to be unveiled at the Paris motor show in September.
