German performance house works its magic on the Audi S5... and the result looks pretty damn good

Audi revealed its stonking RS5 at the recent Geneva motor show, but that doesn't appear to have deterred the aftermarket tuning mobs.

Witness the "White Beast" -- a go-faster version of the S5 coupe -- prepared by Germany-based Senner Tuning AG.

The White Beast moniker might be a bit naff, but there's not too much else we don't like about the beefed-up Audi.

Although not quite as muscle-bound as the 331kW RS5, the Senner (not Senna) labcoats have eked out an additional 22kW and 35Nm from the S5's 4.2-litre V8 (yielding max outputs of 282kW and 475Nm) via a performance air filter, free-flow exhausts and "parametric surface optimisation".

The Senner crew also dispensed with the 250km/h speed limiter, raising the car's v-max to 285km/h.

Apart from boosting its performance potential, the bespoke exhaust system is also said to produce a fruity note and enhance the White Beast's visual presence with its four chromed tips.

Other external cues to the Senner-tweaked car's identity come in the form of a tarmac-hugging front spoiler with large air inlets, rear spoiler lip and diffuser, LED tail-lights and sidesill extensions.

Meanwhile, sports suspension dumps ride height by 40mm, and stuffed into the guards are 21-inch 'Work Varianza T1S' diamond black rims, and wrapped around these is 255/30 R21 rubber at the front and 295/25 R21 gumballs at the rear.

Naturally, the interior cops the now-mandatory carbonfibre package, and there's also "fancy foot mats" trimmed in high-quality velour.

The cost of the whole package (ex-Germany) is 18,990 Euro ($28,250), which doesn't seem absurdly expensive compared with some aftermarket performance/aero kits.
