For a fresh take on automotive websites, check out Citroen’s latest Australian URL. The company says the fresh new website aims at bringing “ease and clarity” to “all age groups and all levels of internet experience.”
The new site offers a fast loading speed with the choice of a panoramic scrolling display or conventional pull-down menus from a menu bar at the top of the screen.
The site provides easily accessed information on Citroen’s local product range, as well as corporate history, technology, environment, motorsport and the latest news. Citroen says all are illustrated with text, pictures and on-demand videos.
Browsers can also select the customary test drive, or have the choice between a viewable or a printed brochure.
General Manager of Citroen Australia Miles Williams says the aim is to make users “feel immediately at home on the site and neither confronted or underwhelmed by its operation. This has been achieved by the choice of drop down menus or scrolling display panels that are a form of virtual reality.”
