Two years ahead of its official launch, Carparazzi has snapped these images of the new Renault Clio testing in the Swiss Alps.

Sporting an interpretation of the all-new Renault corporate front end, Clio is expected to feature a similar range of drivelines to the current model, inlcuding a RenaultSport variant.

Most changes, therefore, are cosmetic with an upgrade in technical features and equipment also likely.

Co-developed with Nissan, the third and current generation Clio has been in production since 2006. Much like this model, it is assumed the new Clio will share its underpinnings with other Renault family members including Nissan, Samsung and Dacia.
