Slated for release in the second quarter of this year, the Lexus LX 570 will feature a revised front fascia, more on-board technology and new-look 20-inch alloy wheels.

Mild styling tweaks at the front and rear include Lexus' new spindle grille (as premiered on the all-new Lexus GS), LED daytime running lamps, a new headlamp cluster and larger front foglamp bezels.

Both the front and rear bumpers are refreshed while at the rear, the bumper now includes a stainless steel garnish. New tail lamps are fitted, while the tow hitch cover is more cleanly integrated into the bumper.

The eight-seat LX 570 also receives a number of interior updates which includes Lexus' Easy Access system for the driver's seat, improved ventilation and a 220V power outlet for the cargo compartment.

The instrument panel has also been updated with a new colour multi-information display while a metallic finish now tops the centre stack, outboard air vents and glovebox.

The cabin of the revised LX 570 also includes mahogany woodgrain-look trim, as well as ivory or black leather-accented interior trim.

Exterior colours are also updated, with a new Mercury Gray and Sleek Ecru replacing Rhodium and Metallic Beige.

LX 570 remains powered by Lexus' 5.7-litre V8 developing 270kW/530Nm, which is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission now equipped with steering wheel-mounted paddle-style shifters. Power is put to the ground via a full-time four-wheel drive system and TORSEN limited-slip locking centre differential.

Offroad, an updated crawl control increases the number of preset speeds from three to five while the new Turn Assist feature tightens the car's turning circle by adding more brake force to the inside rear wheel.

Lexus has also revised its Multi-Terrain Select function to allow drivers to choose from five terrain types including rock, rock and dirt, mogul, loose rock, and mud and sand. Active Height Control (AHC) remains standard, as does multi-terrain ABS.

Finally, Lexus LX 570 also receives new split five-spoke 20-inch alloy wheels wearing 285/50R20 tyres.
