It’s certainly been a busy week for MINI. The company has announced the withdrawal of its Rocketman from production while at the same time revealing the pricing of its Coupe and Roadster models locally, as well as the special edition MINI Baker Street and Bayswater models.

Now, an even more precious model will go on sale Down Under with MINI Australia announcing that it has secured 10 limited edition Goodwoods for local sale – two of which remain available.

Globally, only 1000 MINI Goodwood models will ever be produced, the Cooper S-based model built under the watchful eye of the Rolls-Royce Motor Cars design team.

The uniquely styled model omits the Copper S bonnet scoop for what its designers say is a more “regal presence”. Individually numbered, the MINI Goodwood is finished in a liquid-effect diamond black metallic paint with intricate 17-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels.

The interior is adorned with cornsilk leather on the door skins and atop the instrument panel, knee rolls and centre console. It is matched to a cashmere headliner, sun visors, parcel shelf and pillars.

Of course, like any Rolls-Royce, MINI Goodwood also features its fair share of woodgrain, lambswool and leather, while switchgear is finished in dazzling chrome. An automatic transmission is offered as standard, as is satellite navigation, voice control and a premium Harmon Kardon audio package.

MINI Goodwood is priced from $74,500 (MRLP).
