Set to go on sale in Australia this May, a pair of special edition MINI models will help celebrate the 2012 Olympic Games in true London style. MINI Baker Street and Bayswater, named after iconic London landmarks, bring exclusive equipment and cosmetic upgrades to Cooper, Cooper S and Cooper D hatch models.

MINI Baker Street can be ordered in Cooper and Cooper D guise, while MINI Bayswater is available as Cooper S and Cooper D.

For MINI Baker Street, a grey metallic roof and black bonnet stripes join 16-inch gloss black alloy wheels, black mirror caps with optional Pepper White and Midnight Black body shades also available. “Baker Street” lettering is stencilled on the side scuttle frames.

Inside, MINI Baker Street features combination cloth and leather upholstery with exclusive trim highlights throughout. The seats are finished in a cross-check diamond pattern, the carpet contrasted with light grey floor mats, gear knob and handbrake gaiter.

Feature wise, MINI Baker Street scores satellite navigation and a host of options and accessories.

MINI Baker Street is available for $1950 more than its derivative models.

The second special model, MINI Bayswater, arrives with a sportier flair. Finished in exclusive Kite Blue metallic paint, MINI Bayswater adds 17-inch Sandblast alloy wheels in high-gloss black, and is available optionally with Mightnight Black or Eclipse Grey metallic shades on Cooper S variants.

MINI Bayswater is distinguished by a black contrasting roof and sports bonnet stripes, the mirror cpas also carrying a stripe design which is blue on the right-hand side of the car and grey on the left.

“Bayswater” lettering adorns the side indicator surrounds, door sills and seat tags, the upholstery finished in Punch leather. The cockpit trim is highlighted with Piano Black stripes that continue the path carried by the external bonnet stripes.

MINI Bayswater is also equipped with MINI Chrome Line interior package which includes a Harmon Kardon premium audio system and, like its Baker Street sibling, can be fitted with an extensive range of options and accessories.

The Bayswater package is available on Cooper and Cooper D models for $3400 and on Cooper S models for $2700.
