1981 model Datsun 1200 Utility meticulously restored from the ground up.

The vehicle has now been registered for over three years however has rarely been driven in this time (circa 3,000 km’s) following restoration.

Never been driven in wet conditions and always garaged and covered.

All of the restoration works carried out on the vehicle have been undertaken by local professionals with all receipts available. All works undertaken have been certified by registered engineer and include:

• Entire vehicle completely stripped back to bare shell and professionally restored being painted in brilliant red colour with customised items including detailed under body, flared wheel guards, shaved and smoothed edges, recessed spare wheel well and recessed rear number plate.
• New chrome front bumper and chrome grill surrounds.
• Bonnet vents, door handles and door quarter windows chromed.
• All new rubbers to windows and firewall, etc.
• All suspension completely replaced with new lowered Pedder’s system.
• Brakes renewed with brake booster and disk brakes provided to the front.
• New 17 x 6.5 inch Vault Crystal wheels and tyres including spare.
• New door locks with custom central locking.
• Motor completely rebuilt with twin 40DCOE Webber’s, new extractors and sports exhaust.
• All electrical wiring has been renewed.
• All hoses replaced.
• Gear box rebuilt.
• Interior has been completely renewed with new seatbelts, steering wheel, black carpet and white vinyl trimming with red highlights.
• Sony head unit with twin 61/2 inch split speakers.
• New side indicators, lower front lights with indicators and rear tail lights.

Vehicles speedometer has been professionally recalibrated to accommodate for the larger aftermarket chrome wheels.

I note that the original 1981 model wheels with brand news tyres are to be included with the sale of the vehicle.

Overall, vehicle has been rebuilt with every attention to detail and presents in showroom condition.
