One of the best original examples I've seen and possibly one of the best in Australia.
It had the same owner for 35 years from new and then changed hands once for a short time until I purchased it last year.
I bought this intending to keep and watch it appreciate in value but I have too many vehicles already.
It starts first time, gears shift smoothly, drives great (cliche but true), paint, chrome, lenses, plastics all in excellent condition as it has been stored in a garage all its life and has been well looked after since.
A couple small dints, a few tiny spots of rust and a tear in the drivers seat is all I can really fault.
Not sure what it would need for a RWC as the reg ran out mid last year but all the electrics work (lights, blinkers, heater, demister etc), tyres are near new, no oil leaks, no modifications, glass clear, and everything seems to work but otherwise get a permit and drive it anywhere in Aus and see what it needs for yourself.
