Rare, exotic, regal, & hedonistic, the 130 represents Fiat's finest moment & was an epiphany for iconic stylehouse Pininfarina. With a majestic blend of intimidating looks & grace, this catwalk beauty is a masterclass classic..Pininfarina still rates the 130 coupe as one of the best & most influential designs it has ever put its name to. Appearing at the 1971 Geneva Show to gasps of admiration, the Fiat 130coupe also won the 1971 STYLE Auto award.
It lived up to the sophistication that its styling projected - an opulent, exotic, refined and well engineered car built to a standard rather than price, making this the largest, most expensive & over-engineered luxury Fiat ever made. FIAT has not made anything like it since.
Designed for a suave world of martini-quaffing jet-setters, the elite playground of the 130 was the domain of the uber-wealthy & celebrity owners included Sophia Loren, Marcello Mastroianni & Dusty Springfield.
The whole design, so refined & accomplished, that the ultimate endorsement came from the man himself, Enzo Ferrari, who drove a Fiat 130 coupe on his road trips.
