JAGUAR Sovereign Series 3. 1985 4.2 Litre Auto. Licensed .135000 kilometers. Please note.The year of manufacture is not an indication of the condition of this car. It has done less than 15.000 kilometers since being fully restored in 2006.
The car was professional restored in 2006 from the ground up using only genuine Jaguar parts..
All major components either overhauled or replaced. The Engine was examined, has excellent compression and found needing only minor parts replacement i.e. all rubber hoses, spark plugs and leads,distributor rotor arm and cap, drive belts,viscous fan assembly, engine oil and filter, battery and alternator and now runs very smoothly, quietly and efficiently on standard 91 octane unleaded fuel..
The transmission was serviced, the oil and gaskets replaced.
All suspension and steering bushes were replaced including sub frame mountains.
The brake system was overhauled, all calipers were stripped machined then fitted with new pistons and seal kits. All four disc rotors were replaced along with all brake pads all flexible brake hoses were also replaced.
There is no rust as all body panels were removed stripped to bare metal and examined, refabricated where required then coated in rust inhibitor, and under sealed.
The coachwork is finished in five coats of Jaguar Black Cherry zeralic 2 pack laquer.
The interior is the original Seville grey leather,with Wilton carpet and new woolen roof lining.
The dash board and console were completely removed from the car ,stripped and reveneered in genuine English burr walnut veneer, then relaquered
The features include the usual Jaguar refinements plus keyless entry, sonic immobiliser, radio / cd player and tinted windows.
.It is fitted with new tyres, and serviced regulally.
The air conditioning system has been recently serviced.
