MGA MKII ROADSTER.
The car was in a batch of 12 MGA MKII kits collated at the KD Dept [Knock Down] Cowley UK on the 14th April 1961.
The kits were dispatched to Australia on the 2nd of June 1961 and assembled by the Pressed Metal Corporation of Enfield Sydney on behalf of the British Motor Company during March 1962, making it the 33rd Australian assembled MGA MKII. Apparently only 147 MGA MKII’s sent to Australia by BMC, which makes the car quite rare.
The car’s original paintwork is intact and is in exceptional condition for its age as it was stored for 40 years in an underground carpark in Canberra, the restoration has taken over 2 and a half years to complete.
I am selling the car as I now don’t drive it due to personal health reasons and I would want the car to go to someone who will enjoy and treasure it as much as I do, she has only travelled a mere 1290 miles since its restoration, for more information please don’t hesitate to enquire.

RECONDITIONED CYLINDER HEAD WITH NEW VALVES, GUIDES, SPRINGS AND COLLETS.ALL NEW SEALS, LOCK TABS AND GASKETS, NEW CORE PLUGS, FLUSHED OIL COOLER, NEW OIL COOLER HOSES, SPIN ON OIL FILTER FITTED, NEW THERMOSTAT, NEW THERMOSTAT HOUSING AND WATER PUMP, CARBURETTORS RBUILT WITH NEW JETS, NEEDLES AND SEATS, REBUILT OIL PRESSURE/TEMP GAUGE.
NEW CLUTCH PRESSURE PLATE, DISC ROLLER THRUST BEARING, FLYWHEEL IN GOOD CONDITION, NEW FLEXABLE CLUTCH LINE, CLUTCH SLAVE CYLINDER AND MASTER CYLINDER.

NEW 2ND GEAR SYNCHRO RING, NEEDLE BEARINGS, THRUSTS AND CLUSTER GEAR SHAFT, NEW BEARINGS ON ALL SHAFTS, NEW GASKETS AND SEALS.
BRAKES
NEW FRONT CALLIPERS AND PADS, NEW MASTER CYLINDER, NEW BRAKE SHOES, REAR BRAKE CYLINDERS, STEEL AND FLEXABLE BRAKE LINES.
SUSPENSION
COMPLETE SET O F PINS AND BUSHES IN FRONT SUSPENSION, NEW REAR AXLE SEALS, RECONDITIONED LEAF SPRINGS AND AXLE STRAPS, NEW STEERING BOOTS, TRUNNION KIT, TIE ROD ENDS.
