1967 Mk1 MGB in British Racing Green
It had a full rebuild before I bought it, and has only done 12,700 miles since the rebuild (I have had it for ~26 years).
I'm only selling it because I don't have the garage space anymore, and I've only driven it a handful of times in the past five years - and it deserves to be used!
It comes with a removable hardtop (fitted), as well as the soft top and a tonneau cover (in the boot).
I've been over it to get it ready for sale:
- New battery
- Replaced the steering rack gaiters
- Engine, gearbox, steering rack, and differential oils changed
- New LHS rear brake cylinder fitted
- New brake and clutch master cylinders fitted (modern style to check levels by eye)
- Tyres are 99% tread.
Improvements made:
- Converted to Negative Earth
- It has an electronic ignition, fitted to a new distributor.
- Improved telescopic rear shocks
- Stainless steel exhaust
- Braided stainless steel brake lines
- New electric fuel pump and filter (original SU pump will be supplied for spare)
- Installed relay for brake light switch to prevent burn-out
- K&N air Filters (cleanable)
- Additional electric cooling fan for radiator
- Oil cooler
Comes with some spares, and service consumables, including a a spin on filter kit and some soundproofing that hasn't been fitted yet.
It's on non-transferable club plates so you'll need to have your own club do the safety check so they can issue new ones.
