1990 BENTLEY TURBO R – LONG-TERM FAMILY OWNERSHIP – OVER $25,000 RECENTLY SPENT
A wonderful opportunity to purchase a classic 1990 Bentley Turbo R, finished in beautiful dark blue metallic with cream leather upholstery, deep blue carpets and extensive burr walnut timberwork.
This Bentley has been in our family for many years, having previously belonged to my father.
The car was not used for approximately six years. In preparation for its sale, we undertook an extensive recommissioning program during 2025 and 2026 to get it back on the road.
OVER $25,000 IN RECENT EXPENDITURE
More than $25,000 has been spent on mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and cosmetic work, with much of the specialist mechanical work undertaken by M.G. Pucher, Rolls-Royce & Bentley specialist in Sydney.
MECHANICAL & HYDRAULIC WORK
Significant work has been completed on the braking and hydraulic suspension systems, including replacement brake spheres, brake valve body, rear suspension gas springs, front suspension caster bushes and front brake pads, together with fresh hydraulic fluid.
The engine has been serviced with new oil, filter, breather, spark plugs and ignition lead ends. The fuel pump, fuel filter and fuel tank sender have also been replaced.
ELECTRICAL & OTHER WORK
Additional work includes a new battery, replacement headlight assemblies, windscreen wiper motor, repairs to the electric window mechanisms, handbrake adjustments and extensive attention to the starting circuit, wiring and fuse box components.
BODYWORK & INTERIOR
The bonnet and front guards have received professional paintwork, along with attention to the windscreen plenum panel.
The beautiful burr walnut interior timber has also been professionally stripped and refinished.
The cream leather interior retains the craftsmanship and character for which Bentley is renowned, including generous seating, traditional instrumentation and fold-down rear walnut picnic tables.

Powered by Bentley's legendary 6.75-litre turbocharged V8, the Turbo R combines traditional British luxury with effortless performance and unmistakable road presence.
The odometer currently shows approximately 233,600 km.
This is an honest classic Bentley with age-related wear and patina consistent with its age. It is not being represented as a concours vehicle, but rather an attractive example that has benefited from considerable recent expenditure.
Extensive invoices documenting the $25,000+ recommissioning and refurbishment are available for inspection.
