Presenting a genuinely low-kilometre (125,120 km) piece of BMW history. This is number 48 of only 70 built worldwide to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the BMW "M" division. This historic release marks the only time BMW Australia ever offered an E36 M3 Convertible.
Delivered brand new in Australia, this highly collectible vehicle is finished in stunning Techno Violet with a two-tone Nappa leather interior. Crucially, this example features a factory 6-speed manual transmission, not a troublesome SMG conversion. It is powered by the glorious 3.2L Evo engine (321hp) featuring Euro-spec 6 Individual Throttle Bodies (ITBs), launching from 0-100 km/h in just 5.5 seconds.
Anniversary Factory Options Include:
- Interior Plaque: Unique, gold-plated numbered anniversary plaque (#48/70).
- Interior Trim: Rare Birch Anthracite wood trim (replacing the standard walnut burl).
- Wheels: True forged alloy Style 24 R (LTW/Lightweight) wheels (17x7.5" front, 17x8.5" rear). These are the exact lightweight wheels found on the famous M3 LTW and GT models, and were exclusively factory standard for the E36 M3 Convertible.
- Comfort: Heated electric front seats and Individual digital climate control.
- Convenience & Safety: Factory key FOB remote central locking, 4 airbags, and ABS brakes.

This vehicle has been deeply loved and meticulously looked after for many years. I fully intended to keep it forever, but a new project forces a very reluctant sale.
