A rare opportunity to own an exceptionally preserved, Australian-delivered DC2 Integra Type R — a true time capsule from one of Honda’s finest performance eras.
Built in March 2000 and finished in iconic factory Sunlight / Phoenix Yellow (Y-56), this example has travelled just 68,000 genuine original kilometres. It retains its original factory paintwork, an untouched factory-specification engine bay, original interior and wheels, and remarkable history.
OWNERSHIP & PROVENANCE
Purchased brand new from Honda in 2000, this Type R remained with its original lady owner for 24 years, until 2024. I am only the SECOND OWNER.
The car comes with original Honda purchase documentation, TWO SETS OF ORIGINAL KEYS and service history, with all scheduled and major servicing completed.
As a meticulous JDM collector, I bought this car to keep forever. However, an opportunity has arisen that means reducing my collection. It is a genuinely reluctant sale, and I would love to see it go to another enthusiast who values preservation and originality.

SUSPENSION — ORIGINAL COMPONENTS INCLUDED
The only departure from factory specification is a set of premium MCA Comfort coilovers. They were chosen purely for their ride quality, engineering and the subtle, correct stance they give the car — not to turn this rare Type R into a modified project.
Importantly, the complete original Honda suspension has been retained, carefully bubble-wrapped and stored, and WILL BE INCLUDED in the sale. The next owner can enjoy the MCA setup or return the car to its original factory configuration.
COLLECTOR CARE
This Integra is part of a carefully maintained private JDM collection. It is stored on tyre cushions to minimise flat spotting and connected to a battery trickle charger during storage.
The paintwork has been ceramic coated and has never been chamois-dried during my ownership. I use a BigBoi air blower to dry it, reducing unnecessary contact with the original paint.
WHY THIS CAR IS SPECIAL
Most DC2 Type Rs were bought to be driven hard. Over the years, many have accumulated substantial kilometres, been modified, repainted or restored. Finding one with original paint, original engine bay, an unspoilt interior, genuine low kilometres, original paperwork, two keys and an extraordinary 24-year first-owner history is becoming exceptionally difficult.
Add Australian delivery, the sought-after factory Y-56 yellow and an original suspension setup kept safely for the next custodian, and you have a car that deserves the attention of serious Honda and JDM collectors.
This was meant to be my forever car. It has been cherished accordingly, and I will be sorry to see it leave my collection.
