Genuine DC5r that is in great condition. These cars are hard to come by, especially well looked after, and this one is mechanically A1.
Roadworthy was carried out by Elusive Racing on 20/11/2025 with no expenses spared and the following repairs were carried out:
- Hardrace Engine Mount replacement
- Elusive Racing Aluminium Radiator
- VTEC Solenoid Gasket reseal
- Outer Value Cover Gasket reseal
- Hardrace Front Lower Arm Bushes
- Hardrace Rear Upper Arm Bushes
- 4 x Bridgestone Potenza RE003 R18
- FULL OEM transmission rebuild - full synchro set, counter shaft, main shaft for all gears - shifts buttery smooth now, legit like new
- FULL power steering pump rebuild with new drive belt
The car also has the following mods:
- Js racing intake - literally bought this intake from Osaka Japan and hand carried it on the plane
- Elusive headers with a custom Hi-Flow 200 cell cat so that it’s RW and doesn’t stink like fumes
- Fujitsubo exhaust behind the 200 cell cat which sounds perfect with no droning or being too loud
- Excedy competition clutch
- Buddy club short shifter
- Hybrid racing shifter inserts
- K tuned shifter bushing
- BC BRRA coilovers
- Hardrace tie rod and tie rod ends
It’s actually a very clean car and gets quite a bit of attention as it’s not a common car. I have a company car so I take this out every 2-3 weekends for a drive to Dandenong mountains, Heidelberg-Kinglake road, or the Black Spur for spirited drives. It’s days like those that really make me want to keep this car.
Unfortunately I can’t justify having my own car anymore and can use the money for other things. It’s really my loss and your gain as I’ve spent so much money to maintain this car properly. Feel free to contact me if you want more information.
