My dream car and the car I promised to never sell..
Moving back overseas in July. Motivated to sell but no silly offers please.
I have spent the last 5 years building this car to be better than new. Car has a very interesting back story.
I bought the car in Norway when i was living there in 2020, it had Swedish registration and I had planned to import it to Norway but cancelled those plans as I found out I was returning to Australia. Instead I did a full rebuild of the car then imported the car to Australia in 2024.
Engine has been removed and the engine bay repainted. The cylinder was head rebuilt, the bottom was fine so I left that as is and just replaced the head gasket and head studs. Every seal, hose and gasket has been replaced. including replacing most bolts and going to the effort of sand blasting and powder coating any bracket or part that could be painted.
I have also done the painstaking job of a full underbody restoration on the car. Started with grinding the whole underbody back to metal and removing any rust. Once it was back to bare metal I applied a zinc primer, seam sealer, stone guard and a final enamel paint in white. I have loads of photos and videos of this process and each step taken.
Every control arm, bracket, crossmember has been powder coated in black. Almost every bolt and nut replaced and all hardware in the rear end zinc plated.
Has also had a had full RS diff and axle conversion.
