Overview
Hyundai's Getz pretty much nails it when it comes to entry-level light cars - neat to look at, accommodating as a low-cost small hatch should be and, in the end, nice to live with. The little Hyundai offers adequate punch, very good economy and zippy around-town handling, and is unsurprisingly a popular choice as a cheap-to-buy new car. The SX Getz gets a 78kW/144Nm 1.6-litre four-cylinder with the choice of a five-speed manual or a four-speed auto transmission. (auto at extra cost). The SX comes with four-wheel disc brakes, leather-trimmed steering wheel and gearshift, and the option of stability and traction control.
