Overview
Ever adapting to the market, Hyundai brings a lower priced version of the stylish i45 Active to the table. On offer is a 121kW/198Nm 2.0-litre petrol returning the same economy as the 148kW/250Nm 2.4-litre, at 7.9L/100km via a six-speed manual, but surprisingly improves that figure to 7.6L/100km when mated to the six-speed auto. Equipment levels are a balancing act, designed to tempt buyers from the Mazda6, Suzuki Kizashi, Ford Mondeo and other competition's base models. Alloy wheels are standard and combination leather and cloth seats compliment polished black interior highlights. ABS, stability/traction control and eight airbags contribute to the five-star ANCAP rating.
