LOOKING FOR YOUR FIRST CAR OR RELIABLE BUDGET TRANSPORT? THEN THIS IS THE PERFECT CAR FOR YOU!
My 2012 Holden Barina Hatch is compact but not too small (easy to park) and surprisingly roomy inside (seats 5) with a flexible layout for moving stuff. It is economical (uses E-10, around 7 litres/100 km) and is really easy to drive (1.6 litre engine with 6-speed auto) plus a digital speedo so you know exactly how fast you are going. Its appearance is modern and stylish - it has a factory-fitted rear spoiler. Driver & passenger airbags plus side airbags ensure your safety - 5-star ANCAP rating.
Features first car buyers love:
- Air conditioning
- Cruise control
- USB audio input
- Bluetooth functionality
- radio & CD player
- Front cup holders
- Power steering
- Front & rear power windows
- Remote central locking
- Power door mirrors
- car mats front & back
OK, those features are standard for all 2012 Barinas - but what makes this example stand out from the crowd is its exceptionally low kms.
At the time of writing this ad it has only travelled 39911 km. I am the 2nd owner and knew the previous owner (now deceased) who purchased it new and used it sparingly into her 90s. Full service history available. Last serviced 6 months ago at 39538 km. Paintwork is excellent with no scratches (just one tiny shallow dent on a mudguard, thanks to some inconsiderate person with a shopping trolley), and the interior is like new. Engine is amazingly clean - no oil leaks. Excellent mechanical condition; everything works, and tyres are approx. 50% worn (full-size spare is pretty much unused). Always garaged for first 12 years, and for the 2 years I have owned it has always been in the carport overnight.
Long registration (not due till May 2027).
It really is a shame to sell such a great car but I am retired and have another car (a 2015 Corolla with more than 4 times the kms on it, but it should see me out until I have to surrender my licence) so I no longer need the Barina.
Available for test drive by appointment in Pymble (northern Sydney).
