Changes to the 2012 VE Series II SV6 are minimal. Exterior treatment includes chrome-highlighted lower air dam and front grille surround while continuing with the revised headlamp shape, deck-lid lip and spoiler, plus 19-inch alloys from its predecessor. Inside the iQ system has improved Bluetooth compatibility/functionality and there are changes to the optional Razor/Onyx or Redhot trim stitching. The E85 compliant 210kW/360Nm 3.6-litre V6 returns 9.5L/100km through the six-speed "Sports Auto", a result of torque converter revisions. A complete list of safety features includes ABS, stability/traction control, brake assist and six airbags, making the five-star ANCAP rating appropriate.
