Overview
About to enter its sixth year locally the CJ Lancer still punches on more than adequately, but is being challenged by the incoming tide of equally equipped and ever more capable Korean competitors - not that the other Japanese makes are resting on their laurels either. With multiple variants, comprising of sedans and "Sportbacks", bog-stock daily"drivers, the new LX, plus the likes of the Ralliart and Evolution 4WDs, Mitsubishi casts a wide net. All the mod-cons are there, depending on your willingness to spend, but most importantly the whole range is right up there safety wise, with five ANCAP stars.
