Enjoy the ideal combination of open-top motoring with Volvo safety, plus hard-top security and comfort when the weather isn't ideal. For the peak of summer, the A/C works beautifully to keep you cool, and Scandinavian heating keeps you warm in winter.
This car is in excellent condition and has a long service history with Darrell Pitcher from the Swedish Car Company in Welshpool. I was privileged to be one of the few clients to continue visiting him privately after he "retired". I bought the car from a fellow client of Darrell's, and am the third owner of the car.
A full set of 4 Continental UltraContact UC7 tyres was fitted only 6 months (3,240 kms) ago, and a replacement thermostat was fitted by Jake at West Coast European in January.
I fitted a Smart-Top module ($620), which allows the operation of the convertible top from a distance, or operation of the top while moving. Other than regular service, the car has been faultless and a pleasure to drive in the nearly 3 years that I have owned it.

Overview
The 2.5 petrol turbo is now the sole engine powering the C70, with a healthy 169kW/320Nm and 9.8L/100km it drives the front wheels through a five-speed auto only. The retractable roof shouldn't worry overnighters. There are still a handy 200-litres of boot space left of the original 404 when opened. Top down, you're coddled with seat warmers (optional on the S) and rather good wind protection. Options have been enhanced aplenty. The already abundant safety features have been added too, with Emergency Brake Light (EBL) which strobes the brake lights under severe braking, plus dedicated daylight running lights, upholding a Volvo tradition.
