Purchased by me from Audi in 2014, this has been my only-owner vehicle ever since. It was never intended to be a short-term ownership vehicle. My plan was always to keep it for many years, which is why I invested heavily in preventative maintenance rather than waiting for components to fail. The philosophy throughout my ownership has always been to repair and maintain the vehicle properly using OEM, genuine Audi and recognised OE supplier components.
Over the years this SQ5 has travelled extensively throughout Australia and New Zealand, proving to be an exceptionally reliable, comfortable and capable touring vehicle. I wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere in Australia tomorrow.
I own Eurowerx, a European vehicle parts and service specialist, the vehicle has been regularly inspected using VCDS diagnostics and currently presents with no fault codes.
When the engine was removed for the timing chain service, every accessible component was inspected. Rather than replacing only the minimum required parts, any components showing signs of wear were proactively replaced while access was available. It simply made sense to replace ageing wear items while the engine was out rather than paying for the same labour again in the future.

The only reason for sale is a change in personal circumstances. A close family member has been diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer, and I'm selling some of my vehicles to help support her family financially. Otherwise, this SQ5 would not be for sale.

Overview
As the flagship of the Q5 series, the SQ5 runs the 230kW twin turbodiesel with eight-speed auto. And it's actually faster than the TFSI petrol version sold in other markets. Maybe that's not so surprising when you look at the 650Nm torque figure. An added bonus is the lower fuel consumption at 6.8L/100km, which qualifies for the tax break on luxury cars. It all makes the mid-size Audi SUV a strong contender against the likes of the BMW X3 and Range Rover Evoque, with high equipment levels, efficient space usage and good road manners.
