I’m selling my 2013 Mazda 6 Atenza because my wife upgraded recently and, after a bit of friendly jealousy, I’ve ordered a new car myself. This Mazda has been my faithful commuter for years and has never missed a beat. It’s always been garaged, always serviced annually, and has run on premium fuel its entire life. It’s one of those cars you don’t fully appreciate until you prepare it for sale and realise how much you’ll miss it.
Mechanically it’s in excellent shape. Four tyres with very low kilometres, recently replaced front pads and rotors, and registration paid through to June 2027. It’s been a reliable, comfortable and safe daily driver, and the Atenza trim still holds up incredibly well with its tech, sensors and top‑tier safety features.
Inside, the car is still close to immaculate. There’s a small scuff on the steering wheel and some wear on the driver’s floor mat—both easy fixes—but otherwise the interior presents extremely well. The exterior is appropriate for its kilometres: some gravel rash on the bonnet, gutter rash on all four wheels, and a few scuffs on the boot lip. Nothing unexpected for its age, and as you can see from the photos, it still looks great.
This has been a genuinely good car to own—comfortable, efficient, safe, and surprisingly enjoyable on long drives. I’ve looked after it properly and it’s rewarded me with trouble‑free motoring. I’ll be sad to see it go, but it’s ready for someone else to enjoy.
