Overview
When Suzuki threw its hat into the ring with the new Swift, it redefined the genre with its excellent array of safety features across the board. With seven airbags (including knee for the driver) and stability control, amongst a nice line-up of safety acronyms, it's no surprise. The Sport goes some way to re-igniting the GTi performance of old with its 100kW/160Nm 1.6-litre engine pulling around little more than a tonne. You're also getting firmer suspension, larger/wider alloys, sports seats and climate air, amongst other unique fittings. There's also the option of a CVT auto over the six-speed manual.
