At its core lies a 3.0L twin-turbo inline-six, but this isn?t your standard M4. Thanks to an innovative water injection system ? a technology lifted straight from motorsport ? the GTS pushes out an impressive 368kW (493 hp) and 600Nm of torque. 0?100 km/h? Just 3.8 seconds. Top speed? Electronically limited to 305 km/h.
But numbers only tell part of the story.
What truly sets the GTS apart is its obsessive weight-saving philosophy. Extensive use of carbon fiber reinforced plastic, a stripped-out interior, titanium exhaust, and even lightweight door panels bring the car down to approximately 1,510 kg. Every gram matters ? and BMW made sure none were wasted.
Then there?s the presence.
Finished in iconic Frozen Dark Grey Metallic with Acid Orange accents, the GTS doesn?t whisper ? it announces itself. The adjustable front splitter, manually adjustable rear wing, and track-focused suspension aren?t for show; they?re functional, purposeful, and unapologetically aggressive.
This is a car that was developed on the Nürburgring and feels most at home chasing apexes, yet remains road legal ? a rare duality that few vehicles achieve.
