X166 d Wagon 7st 5dr 9G-TRONIC 9sp 4MATIC 795kg 3.0DT The seven-seat Mercedes-Benz GL is now re-badged as the GLS, following the SUV naming protocol already under way with the GLA, GLC and GLE models. Where the latter three are respectively related to A-Class, C-Class and E Class, the GLS's origins belong to the S-Class limo. The largest Benz SUV comes in 190kW/620Nm 3.0-litre turbo-diesel 350 d and 350 d Sport from, as the 335kW/700Nm 4.7-litre V8 GLS 500, and as a 430kW/760Nm 5.5-litre V8 AMG GLS 63. Autonomous emergency braking, Crosswind Assist, Attention Assist, Distronic Plus/Stop&Go Pilot, Cross-Traffic Assist, Active Blind Spot Assist and Active Lane Keeping Assist are standard.
