More sporting and stylish in nature than the X1 SUV that sits a level below it, the front-drive or AWD X2 nevertheless does a good job of carrying people and luggage with its 470-litre boot that opens out to as much as 1355 litres with the rear seat folded. Engines include a 103kW/220Nm 1.3-litre three-cylinder turbo-petrol and a 140kW/400Nm 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo-diesel, all driving through a seven-speed auto.
