All built in different places (hatchback in Poland, sedan in Korea and wagon in the UK), Astras share basic design commonality. A 110kW/240Nm four-cylinder 1.4-litre turbo is fitted across the board, while the sportily-inclined hatch also offers an optional 147kW/280Nm 1.6-litre turbo. Six-speed manual and auto gearboxes are available in sedans and hatchbacks, while the Sportwagon is auto-only.
