The long-range Leaf, in the top Japanese grade. The e+ is the 62 kWh version of the second-generation Leaf — 160 kW and 340 Nm, so it is quick as well as long-legged, with real-world range in the high 200s to around 300 km — and the G grade brings ProPILOT adaptive cruise with lane centring, ProPILOT Park, a 360-degree camera, heated seats and steering wheel and ten airbags. What matters on a used Leaf is the battery, and this one has the answer: 88% state of health at seven years, tested here, with only 74 rapid charges in its life against 909 slow ones — it lived on a wall charger, which is why the pack is in the shape it is. Australia sold the e+ from 2021; this is the same car, two years earlier and better equipped.
