Engine choices comprise a 1.5-litre three-cylinder turbo (Cooper) with 100kW/220Nm, a 141kW/280Nm 2.0-litre four-cylinder (Cooper S) " both front-drive with seven-speed dual-clutch transmission " a boisterous, hard-charging 225kW/450Nm 2.0-litre JCW ALL4 AWD (zero to 100km/h in 5.1sec), and a three-cylinder plug-in hybrid with electrically-assisted AWD. The MINI Countryman's roomy interior is backed up by a total 1275 litres of load space.
