Available in Life, Zen and Intens specification, the stylish Renault employs a 117kW/260Nm 1.3-litre four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine driving the front wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox. Sitting between Renault's Renault Captur and Koleos SUVs, the Kadjar, though its maximum load capacity is quoted as slightly more, is a bit smaller overall than Mazda's CX-5. Low and high-speed autonomous emergency braking, front/rear parking sensors and cruise control are common, with lane-departure warning and blind-spot monitoring added from Zen upwards and the premium Intens gaining self-parking and sat-nav.
