The vehicle is a BYD Sealion 6 Dynamic Extended, which is a front wheel drive (FWD) plug-in hybrid (PHEV) mid-size SUV.
I purchased the vehicle from my son, who had it for less than 6 months and immigrated to Scotland in late May 2026. The purchase was really to help him out, as he didn't have enough time to sell the car himself before leaving overseas. In the meantime, I will be starting a new job soon, of which they will provide me with a fully maintained company vehicle. Therefore, I would prefer to resell the vehicle while it is still very new and has very low km's.
The vehicle was purchased brand new in Jan 2026 by my son, then I purchased it from him in June 2026. So, the vehicle has had two owners within the same family and is less than a year old since the original purchase from the car dealership. The original purchase price from the dealership was $47,590 (excluding any Govt. charges).
The vehicle has yet to be serviced, the first official service is not due until 20,000kms. The vehicle comes with a 6 years / 150,000 km vehicle warranty, and 8 years / 160,000 km battery warranty.
The car is running perfectly, as new and has no issues or defects.
