P145 MY27 Inspire Extended Range Wagon 5dr E-DHT 1sp 473kg 1.5i/160kW Hybrid A five-seat medium SUV competing with the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV, BYD Sealion 6 and Jaecoo J7 SHS, Geely's Starray EM-I is its second EV. Available in either Inspire or Complete form, the Starray EM-I's plug-in hybrid system pairs a conventional 73kW 1.5-litre petrol engine with dual electric motors to produce a total 160kW. Assistance from an 18.4kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate battery helps deliver 83km of electric-only range, while the combined range is claimed at approximately 940km. Both models include heated and powered front seats, a 15.4-inch touchscreen and LED lighting -- the Complete version adding a panoramic roof, head-up display and 16-speaker audio. The Starray comes with a seven-year unlimited-kilometre warranty and a five-star ANCAP safety rating.
