E35 GT Hatchback 5dr Auto 1sp 190kW The Chinese-built Mazda 6e is based on the Deepal L07 and serves as both a spiritual successor to the petrol Mazda6 and Mazda's second battery electric vehicle (BEV), following the short-lived MX-30. A challenger for the Tesla Model 3 and BYD Seal, it's loaded with luxury and technology and is well-powered by a rear-mounted single electric motor (190kW/380Nm), paired with a 78kWh lithium-iron phosphate (LFP) battery. It delivers a quiet, stable ride with more than 500km of driving range. Inside, the 6e feels every bit Mazda, with properly premium and plush materials. Practicality is solid for a sedan too: the boot offers around 460 litres, and there's even a 70-litre frunk.
