1969 Jaguar E-Type FHC Series II 4.2L. One of the Purest Icons of British Motoring. This is a rare opportunity to acquire one of the most desirable and beautifully preserved examples of Jaguar legendary FHC Series II E-Type, a genuine 1969 4.2-litre model, complete with a Jaguar Heritage Certificate (#68709) verifying its authenticity and specification. According to historical account from previous owner, this particular Jaguar E-Type was dispatched / delivered on 20 June 1969 in New York and in some point in its life privately imported to Australia. The car remained in the care of current owner who completed specification works and continued to preserve the E-Type with great care. This very special collectable classic was owned for more than decades by a passionate collector of rare eclectic classic vehicles who passed away and then sold by the estate to current previous owner who has now traded it in with us for a significantly rarer, exotic collectable investment. Lovingly cherished, always garaged, and kept under cover, the vehicle was only taken out on special occasions for selected events. For the past decade, it has been stored away from the elements, seldom seen in public and kept in pristine condition. Beneath its signature long, sculpted bonnet lies Jaguars iconic 4.2-litre straight-six engine, Engine and gearbox have been expertly restored as indicated by previous owner, original colour was Pale Primrose Yellow and had a full colour changed to Signal Red, beautifully presented with classic patina and beautiful chrome wire wheels. The interior is equally impressive, featuring period-correct leather seats and the classic wood-rimmed three-spoke steering wheel, a timeless tribute to the design and craftsmanship that made the early E-Types true automotive icons in 1969 this was voted one of the most beautiful cars in the world.
